Science:

All year 7 pupils receive 4 periods of science a week and are taught by a specialist science teacher. This includes 3 theory and or practical lessons and 1 live marking question and feedback lesson where pupils get the opportunity to embed what they have learned across the week as well as receiving quality feedback from their teacher to support good progress.

Pupils receive weekly homework and are given weekly quizzes to promote memory and recall.

Our pupils relish the opportunity to observe and explore their theory work through practical's in our state of the art teaching laboratories. The science department also run a weekly STEM club in collaboration with the Computer Science and DT department.
