In Year 7 pupils will work under the themes of Natural Forms, Landscapes and Animals in Art. Within these themes pupils will be taught about relevant art movements and artists, such as Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Georgia O'Keeffe and Piet Mondrian. They will learn about Impressionism, Renaissance art, Abstraction and Contemporary art. All students will be able to learn new practical skills and develop their creativity, with lessons on drawing, painting, 3D sculpture, oil pastel, colour pencil and charcoal.
