Charity isn’t just about raising money for good causes; it’s also about providing wider learning opportunities for our students. We want to encourage our young ladies to think about more than just themselves and develop a positive, community-centred approach to school life. We expect our students to take an innovative approach to tackling community issues and, at the same time, develop their social skills for the future.
We intend to hold a charity theme each term. Some events will involve raising funds but others may involve community activities like litter-picking or carol singing in a retirement home. We want to foster this sense of giving time rather than just raising funds.
